at 11:07 PM, Tuesday January 9, 2007 EST It's pretty silly to suggest that someone is cheating, then ask if it can be done.
I think it would be pretty hard to cheat... the only "easy" way would be to occupy 2 or more places at the same table, and I think Ryan has some counter-measures in place for that. You could probably get around them with some work, but.... uh... why??? |

at 2:40 AM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST okey, no one could move, and when it was my turn, i could not attack, but at the same time i lost a land. and when i finaly attact, i attackt myself. So, i would suggest he was cheating. Then he won the game, and no one could do a thing about it.

at 9:26 AM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST I'm pretty sure people have been cheating/hacking it somehow. There was a guy on a match I was spectating (not playing) that had gained the magic ability to play anywhere; he'd attack someone at the front of his base with a stack from the back of his base. No, it wasn't a strange map, but it is possible that the whole thing was just showing up wrong on my screen.

at 12:23 PM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST I have also seen what Noonsaliwah has described. Twice now, in different games, I have had a non-adjacent player attack in the middle of my land mass. I don't know if it is cheating or if it is a bug.

at 12:57 PM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST When it happened to me --someone took one of my territories that they weren't connected to-- I was very sure it was a bug (possibly caused by the extra lag in that game). There also used to be a bug that was something like if you're at two tables you might load the wrong map, but this seemed like a different bug.

at 3:21 PM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST Generally those situations occur during instances of lag. Try refreshing your browser or if you have multiple windows of kdice open, that will cause it as well.

at 10:38 PM, Wednesday January 10, 2007 EST In my case, it wasn't due to lag. At the end of the other player's turn, he still did not have any territories adjacent to mine, but he did own a territory right in the middle of my collection. In other words, I surrounded the territory that he took on all sides. This would not be possible due to lag if I had not taken an additional turn to surround him.
