Is There Anything Worse Than Losing a +2 Dice Battle?

There you are , with grand plans to go here then here then here, all you have to do is win something like a 6 vs. 4 and then you can clean up on some 2's and 1's and connect some territories and go on and win the game. That's the way it is in your head, right? And then suddenly you lose that 6 vs. 4 and all your visions of glory are turned into nightmares of sudden exit.
