Playing is fun.
Not playing is very boring. When you get to a certain amount of points you canât play most tables or most tourneys. The tables you can play at that level fill up very slowly so you have to wait 20 minutes to an hour or more just to play one game. Very few tourneys can be played. This makes it very boring as there is not much playing occurring. I suggest opening up all tables to everyone with no restrictions for those with high points. Also open up all tourneys for all as they are the most fun. You will lose players due to boredom. It will be better to keep players due to fun. |

Dynamic table limits. On the one hand, it is rather frustrating to be a new player craving for 500 points to get beaten by "pros" that have 100k points. For them, losing a 500 means nothing - you can play with high risk and dynamics. For the beginner it means another turn in the pits. On the other hand Bammbi is very right of course. Not being able to play low tables means long, frustrating waiting - and a lot of time to look for other games. Nobody loving this game wants that. The idea: IF there are 8 players that have more than 2k points logged in, those players have to play 500 and above. If there are 8 player having more than 5k, they have to play 2k and above. The players get seated automatically to avoid fucking others by being logged in without playing or sitting (all numbers and limits can be modified and discussed). IF there are less than 8 players logged in that have points above the threshold, those can sit any table including 0 and 100. That way anybody can play any time AND you force higher tables to be active. Regarding tourneys: Just create tourneys with 2k, 5k, 10k or even more buyin that take place more often. Obviously there is enough people that would play it. You don't want the big fishes in the freeroll as that tourney creates players that then have to join higher tables. Just make it a free-for-all and there will be a much more vibrant atmosphere with each person interacting with a multitude of people. New comers would witness a more vibrant community at the low tables and that can be infectious.
