....what's going on in these 2 games? Same weird "lags" were happening in a row.... it's enough to watch the last 30 seconds. Thank you in advance

OK... I found it out myself, after watching one more game..... automatically game-end in round 11 according to the size of the left players.... no matter who got all the verbal flags - he will be last if he lets others grow to reach eachother to fight and if they are bigger than himself then.

Tbh - I don't care if it's a 0table or not: I clearly don't like this idea - it's crap imho, sorry to say... and yes, I know there will be players who like the idea. Have fun playing there then

If you don't like it, use a different table. Only 2 tables have round limits and it is preferred by those that want to play 4/7 in a fun way. The idea is to stop people sitting/stacking at these tables and ending up with all players sitting around being afraid to move. In this format it makes sense to move and try get kills or win before the round limit is up

Without discussing the pros and cons of round limits I am just curious who sits out first? Because the person right in front of that one will be first.

Is this determined randomly or by size or depending on the start? The gain on a 0 table isn't too impressive, thus it is not that important. Still I'm curious. I'd like the idea that the person following the guy with most lands (most dice by same number of lands, most connected lands, most kills that game, random) sits out first and gets last while the biggest guy gets first. It adds to the idea of having to grow and play aggressive to win.

everyone gets X rounds

so after the last person had his xth round, the game checks who has the lowest amount of dice and autoresigns that person first...then the next one etc

at least that's the idea, let me know if the order is wrong in some games

Hi there,

so I'd like to add something please:

@HOT - I know, I don't have to play these tables (I guess the other table is "Integral World"?). What I didn't know, was the fact there are tables to play this way. And that's why I was pretty surprised when 2/3 players got kicked out by "forced resign" and the one in 1st lost his 1st coz of this. Your explanation about "In this format it makes sense to move and try get kills or win before the round limit is up" is fine - when you know there is a round limit. In the first game I posted, the one in 1st (coz of verbal flags) and me didn't know about it - but I'd bet the one who GOT 1st in the end knew it, and that's why he ran away that fast without a single word instead of explaining.... He knew he would gain 1st, just coz he was allowed to grow while the other player sat and let him (and me) fight. The point we both were pretty pissed about, was, that we didn't know verbal flags at this table will make you lose when you accept them, coz others might get bigger than you are. If you know what might happen, you can change your playing and take care to keep the position you might get coz of flagging. And then all is fine. So to me it seems to be a table where you better should play without flagging - which isn't a bad idea at all.

@jurgen - in these 3 games at that table I was playing / watching the order was like you said it should be. So from this point of view it was correct - just to let you know.

I probably shouldn't have said this idea is crap... a too harsh word according to the fact you are trying to bring something new to kdice.... it just would have been nice to know it before playing... so I apologize for calling it that way. Maybe....if you have more ideas like that... can't you post it here and tell us about it, so we know what might happen? I know I wasn't the only one being surprised. Just an idea...... Beside that: long ago there were some small tables..like final tourney-tables and they were playable with 2 or 3 ppl... Ryan made them for a lil while just to try ... there were many ppl who liked these tables..maybe you could bring them back for a while as well? Would be cool. Thank you in advance for - maybe - thinking about it

I dont like the forced end either. I'd love it if you added one or two 7 terr/ 4 stack tables without roundlimiits. I love the jurgen table with 47 terrs, but having a roundlimit on this one is even worse than on the 4 stacks. totally kills the game imo. maybe you could add a big one without a roundlimit too. that way people could choose. roundlimits would need to be visible in the map description though, but, imo, that would be a good idea anyways.
generally I like that you guys are experimenting with new ideas, so thanks for the effort!

we have lots of tables of size 20 and above.
make one table:

14-16 lands
8 stacks
no round limit

and let players decide if they like it.
