Second is simply given to a player who gives no in game assistance and does not flag -- then there is a quick series of leaving and re-entering the table, which has been used to force lag. |

NoSpuhforyou: Oh fuck OFF. there was no pga and the only "lag" I saw was red missing his first turn There was no "quick series of leaving and re-entering the table, which has been used to force lag" so that's basically a lie or a delusion. For the record, one person ever managed to force lags by sitting in and out quickly and that exploit has been fixed within a few hours. |

at 12:44 AM, Tuesday September 22, 2015 EDT I've watched this replay as well. I don't understand where any issue lies other than you having a temper tantrum over your lack of second place. There's no PGA here, Green simply fought his own battles and left Yellow alone and ended up larger. I assume Yellow didn't want to lose dom points towards the end and hence decided Green was 2nd and you were 3rd.
For the record; the replays do show us when people sit in and out, and when players leave and come. And your claim doesn't stack up. You simply seem to be upset over the outcome of the game. The only problem in the entire game was your expletive which was mild and a one off occurrence. No lag spikes. One missed turn by Red at the start (common). No entering and leaving. No sitting in and out. Nothing untoward was done. There's no reason to act here. Please think carefully about what you report to us - we review them, and if you're wasting our time just because something hasn't gone your way, it makes us less likely to want to review future replays by you because we'll just assume you're doing a bivo. Please stop making silly reports. |

at 2:29 AM, Tuesday September 22, 2015 EDT To calm down a slightly heated situation I suggest all involved and emotionally reacting persons decide to give any report of "bad games" a time of at least 2 hours before reporting them. I get pissed in games at times - but honestly I usually have forgotten about it 2 hours later. If I still remember it might be worth reporting. On the other hand any mod with a lowered frustration barrier towards some reporting people decides to wait at least 1 hour after watching a report before reacting to it. That should also cool down the anger a bit and make a reaction more moderate.
After all this site needs both. People that are involved and report cheating AND moderators that check the incidents and act accordingly if the cheating can be confirmed. What we don't need at all is these two groups pissing off each other through pointless report-spamming and insulting reactions. So calm down a bit. |

at 4:14 AM, Tuesday September 22, 2015 EDT I agree with Louis,
we need people to report fishy games or any other problematic behavior we also need mods that review these reports I think that both things are happening although maybe a lot of people don't know where or how to report. A submit game to report button would be nice although I think it would create an insane amount of work load and we might miss some valid claims because there is simply too much to review. I can speak for myself but I'm also pretty sure about Pursey that we review almost every report that is sent to us. Sometimes you miss one or you forget about one but those are exceptions. Just because action wasn't taken, doesn't mean it wasn't looked into. I even take time to check claims by the known overbiassed (trying to find a nice word so I don't have to use crazy) players like spuh or bivo. Try checking bivo's claims with an unbiassed open mind for years because hey, in 2% of his claims he was right by accident. I bet they don't realize how much mod time they waste with their crazy claims. It's all time that could have been spent monitoring the real suspicious players instead. So they are not doing themselves a favor because they can't really enjoy this site because they see conspiracies everywhere. They also kid themselves in thinking they can't be successful at the game because everyone else surely must be cheating then (sort of a protection mechanism to ignore the fact that they suck). But they're also not doing the site a favor because even though it's entertaining sometimes, it's toxic to the table as well. Main problem is the amount of mod time they waste AND the people they falsely accuse. For the record: I monitor the lower tables too. I would estimate my time spent monitoring games at 20% lower tables 20% 500s and 60% higher tables. |

at 4:47 AM, Tuesday September 22, 2015 EDT No, I'm done here. This game is for the ever-shrinking in-crowd and isn't fun.
There never was any lag cheating. There have never been any formal or informal teams. People don't sit with their own alts and the iPhone app hasn't made it any easier to do so. The mods are utterly objective and have a clear, explicitly stated set of ethics and rules for player behavior, which is rigorously and impartially enforced. PGA is cheating and is not tolerated. Nobody cheats on the 0 tables. All the user scripts and add-ons that have been created have been for the betterment of the game. No one has ever desired to create any script that would be harmful to the game or site or would influence the outcome of the competition, let alone desired to. Choosing mods out of the ranks of top players is a terrific idea on a web site like this, where systematic cheating has never occurred. People who always sit together and do each other repeated favors in-game are simply showing the meaning of true friendship. Scott Walker will be the next President of the United States. kdice.com will still be a thriving site in 2 years. |
