am ok with this idea but you have to change the minimum of players on table. Like 3 players at the minimum. I'm playing a lot of 100 and 0. Why ? cuz there's not enough players to play on higher table 20/24 hours a day.

If you're going to force people to play the high stakes against their will, you're going to make them quit anyway.

Just respect the fact that some prefer to play for fun and don't be selfish or greedy for their points by forcing them to play 2k.

The real solution is growing the player pool (heh, I know that's not going to be easy, especially since the tendency is for us to lose players atm).

Maybe do some PR work and go to the lower tables, gently trying to recruit people to the higher tables. Just explain they can be fun too and who knows: you might get a few players to try them out (and stay).

Hey Jurgen, personaly I don't care, I play the same on 0 or 5k, I just like to play. I tried to find a solution for players who are playing for points.

has nothing to do with points, 2ks/5ks are more fun cause the players who sit dont play random - they use their brains :OOOOO. if ure only playing 0s ull never get good at this game :/ understand ur point tho, jurgen

As if points players aren't sitting at low tables pumping points along to each other. Mods don't police 0 tables because "they're just for fun"; meanwhile, people spend a pleasant hour milking a thousand or so points off the noobs. Then mods wonder why new people don't join and stick around.

Timer I agree that 2k/5k are more fun. I just hope we can one day get back to thousands of active players so there are plenty of 2k/5k.

The good news is that Ryan is still very interested in finding ways to make the site grow again. We even talked about this last weekend. I'm not saying things will change in the very near future but who knows in the long term.

I just hope you can enjoy the games that DO start :)

"bad solution" that was in place for years and years and worked just fine when the player base was a decent size.

alts are a good solution to "I want to play just for fun" or "I don't want to play high stakes."

if people want to play for points, they SHOULD be forced to play at higher level tables. they shouldn't be able to play a boatload of 0s and 100s for the same rewards as a couple 2ks.
