He didn't play one. You don't need regular games to finish in the top100, win a freeroll or get an initial boost from recruiting a friend, then play 250+100 tournies and players' evening+afternoon. If you are skilled, you can easily finish top100, there was even a challenge for this (maximum score without anynreg. games).
