Sure. Most players probably do atm. I used to get loss-compensation points with my alt I didn't play... Made a few levels with that account that wasn't active besides logging in and collecting those points. Never actually lost anything since that incarnation never played. Doesn't hurt anybody, doesn't cost anything - delete the mail and move on if it bugs you. You can even select to not get it any more. But then, you did collect the points, didn't you?
