I'm not sure what the awful person is in reference to. I have toned down the attitude a lot the past 6 months.

If you want to ban people I think your energy would be better spent looking for cheaters, racists etc.

nothing anyone can do (short of hacking) is cheating, and i'm not accusing you of that. and i appreciate that you have toned down what was previously an intolerable presence in chat. what i'm referring to above is your playstyle, which is...awful. you lie to and bully other players, you stab, basically you have a talent for making the game no fun for anyone. kdice thrives on a mutual understanding between players of what is acceptable and what isn't. for instance, it is pretty widely accepted that stabbing is unacceptable. however, there is little to no recourse anyone has to prevent you from doing that, other than screwing our games up by not accepting your flags. so i'm asking the mods to consider action to curb your behavior.

stabbing is okay. wtf are you talking about. if you dont like it, pge him dont make a forum post crying about it.

While I don't like stabbing, don't do it and think it is an ethical mistake, it still is totally within the limits to do it. There is no reason to ban for something you think bad style. You can't go on banning players for stupid moves ruining your position gaining them nothing (god, I'd LOVE to ban those idiots...)

Usually you ruin your reputation when you stab frequently. Using reviews and playernotes this will result in people killing the stabber rather than taking his flag. An occasional stab seems to be a valid strategy, stabbing all the time will sooner or later ruin your reputation - and that will not help you.

Being a perma-painintheass in chat will have you muted and thus your flags go unheard - and you get killed. Again, this should be selforganising. Don't have the authorities in fields where they are not needed, they tend to mess it up (not limited to kdice I guess and ofc no explicit insult to our mods intended)

btw it actually wasn't against me, but if that's how you guys think the game should be played then i take back what i said. my point was that it was more than a personal grievance, but apparently others don't care as much so i'm willing to drop it.

and louis i totally agree. it's obviously within the confines of the game to stab, so it's not "illegal". the game doesn't allow you to do anything "illegal".

also i was trying to say that it's weird to me that despite thrill's rep for doing this all the time, he still has plenty of street cred. felt like the traditional channels had failed us.

Kudoukun, I like how you brought this up. This topic (in general, not player related) should appear in the forum now and then.

I think others before me clearly explained why stabbing or another not so good sportsmanship-like attitude can't (and won't) be moderated. But the answers are also there: the other players simply have to react to it themselves and this problem will autoregulate itself.

If the risk/reward is getting bad for stabbing or other moves, (smart) people will only use it when it can't backfire.
