Tourney Scenario

Just interesting in some input...I don't have a screenshot. Here is the scenario.

On a 4 player table, Green player amasses a 6 stack round 2. Yellow flags Green. Blue stacks well and attacks through Green, crippling him and also claiming his flag. Puple player and Yellow player also flag Blue.

In the meantime, Yellow gets very, very large. Purple, having flagged nobody but Blue, wants to fight a now weak Green 2/4. He offers that to Yellow (who has already flagged Green).

Green asks Yellow for help, but Yellow sits... so Green flags to Purple.

Only other note is that the table started with 5+, so 4th gets negative.

How should each color act?

Normally this game would end with Yellow killing Green.

In that scenario, who cares.

blue should eliminate yellow, or atleast purple should have said yes to green and let green and yellow fight for second last in which case yellow should be fourth.. when you have an opportunity to beat someone and they beg you for mercy.. which is exactly what they are doing.. it is real cold to screw them over.. there is the proper way to handle that mess you welcome

Green should have killed Yellow, due to the early flag scenario. There would have been a counter if anyone was eager to undertake that road but it seems like no body gave a shit. Blue should have said something, as he is the leader on the board, to make it clear and fair but we all know Kdice isn't a fair game. Then again if any player is dissatisfied there are many other games ahead to not accept lame early flags.

sometimes I think people forget how to play kdice.

How you should act depends on what outcome you want. You have to work whatever scenario you are in to your advantage, and get yourself the best possible result. Whether that means convincing the other guy that flags are/aren't transitive, depends on what side you are on. The beauty of just 'saying shit' is that sometimes people listen to you.

tl;dr I'll say what i said in my other post:

do whatever you want.

If I was Green, I would have convinced Yellow to help me, then stab Blue and win.

If I was Blue, I wouldn't care what the others are doing unless I see a possibility to kick someone out of the tourney and win.

If I was Yellow, I'd explain that flags are not transitive, kill Purp, then stab Green, then stab Blue and win.

If I was Purple, I'd explain that flags are transitive, make Green and Yellow flag out, then stab Blue and win.
