seems to be developing in kdice, and it's fucking annoying. Take out all of my islands. Leaving me with one one or two-die spots leaves you without territory to gain dice from and leaves me with territory to lose dice to and make it more difficult for you to take it later on. Also, I just learned what "rolling" is, and it's like, the dumbest thing possible. Ya'll should be ashamed of accepting such dumb house rules ya'll created. Srsly, letting the random factor of kdice determine who gets subsequent placement? Have we not been cheated by the same system like very fucking day when we lose a 6 stack vs. 2 stack? You're all fucking nuts.

at 10:47 AM, Tuesday July 29, 2014 EDT Not taking your islands, or deciding to stop not taking your islands, is part of the tactics for setting you up for the kill.
For example, taking your island could be an offering of you to another player who can take your other island and then one-hit you. T-rexes share their food. |

at 2:13 PM, Wednesday July 30, 2014 EDT Yeah but that's a very specific instance. I'm mostly talking about when the game starts and the initial land grab, when there's no immediate threat to spreading out and there's only dice to gain. Sure, there's a chance they could lose to it but I'm talking about one or two-die stacks here. The risk vs. reward is low.
I never used to see this before and maybe it's a side effect of the implementation of kills and the weird new house rules I've noticed. |

at 1:40 AM, Friday August 1, 2014 EDT Roll to know who the winner is after a truce is just the RIGHT thing to do...
1) How many times you start in a truce being the strongest player and you end up being the weakest as your opposition is mainly hitting you. Is it fair to now fight with your truce partner who benefited from the fight? 2) When you fight as a team, you cannot think of oneself. If a truce was to end with a fight, you would be consistentely watching your back, not willing to let your partner/s expand, therefore decreasing effectiviness of the truce. 3) You should be ashamed of your stupidity and start thinking before writing. |
