Code for starting grid changed?

I don't know if that part of the code has been touched as well, but I got the impression that the random seating at the starting grid is worsened significantly. More and more games are just over with the start. That's not exactly improving the fun.

I think the problem is the games that start with 5 or 6 players are prone to really lame, unfair starting set-ups, moreso than the standard 7 player games.
