LAG ON YOUR TURN SOUND WHEN GAME TAB NOT OPEN

I keep missing turns because the game lags with the "your turn" sound if the game tab is not open. This sucks because I'm forced to stare at the game screen the whole time I'm playing and I don't normally play like that.
Is there any fix to this? I know others have complained of this problem before. |

at 6:13 AM, Wednesday June 25, 2014 EDT Especially annoying in heads-up play, when you're obviously winning, switch tabs to facebook, meanwhile you dont hear a thing, the game sits you out and the opponent just hits end turn twice and wins the fucking game. Goddammit, Ryan, please fix it.
