When someone wins a 5 v 8 that is a instant win. Meaning that person gets 1st place.
Also - flagging 3rd on a zero table is that same as 4th. Also - good luck in your Special Ed classes. |

at 1:44 AM, Monday January 20, 2014 EST I think, if somebody wins 5v8 he/she should be butchered by the table for unreal luck and obvious cheating. The only way to get this lucky is being Ryans toy for whatever phantasies he got.
On the other hand if somebody loses an 8v3 attack, he should be given 1st instantly as he/she obviously does not give in to oppresion by the THEM in form of bad luck. The table should agree and support resistance agains THEM. BTW, what happens if you call a roll and fail? You get to instantly flag out? |

at 11:21 PM, Monday January 20, 2014 EST A lot of my come from behind victories are from 5v8 wins. It's a risky move but with huge benefits that adds another skillful element to the game. I don't do it on the low tables though. Only 2k and 5k games seem to honor it.

at 2:28 AM, Tuesday January 21, 2014 EST I know this 5v8 "rule" has existed for ages, but I see no reason to stick to it. Really, who the fuck invented it? Why not 4v7?
In any way, rules that are not enforced by the game (or the majority of players) are pointless and so is this one. |
