Island in tournament

A situation arose where Mitsi the cat was on an island in a tournament. Her logic was that she should roll 1/2 with the person that received 1st on the mainland. In summary, she had one land, an island, and thought she represented another continent or country or something. The person that received the flags on the mainland offered various compromises, to which she refused all.
Despite 5 people telling her she was in the wrong, she was adamant that they were all being manipulated against her and that she was in the right. They banded together on the next round to take her out of the tournament, then all rolled for the rest of the places. What does everyone else think...besides me being a riddre bitch? |

at 2:52 AM, Saturday December 21, 2013 EST Mitsi is right in trying to bargain, I would try too
Mitsi is wrong in trying to push it too far and get the 5v1 The others can't be blamed for 5v1 but I think a roll off for the tournament is kinda anticlimatic so I would suggest a 1 game roll off. Or at least let the top 2 of the roll fight it out with kinda equal points. Ryan has been asked several times to remove islands so I guess we will have to come up with a standard solution ourselves. It's probably going to stay very vague and outcomes will depend on bargaining skills of everyone involved. But in case of roll offs, it's probably more fair if the winner on the mainland gets a +X with X being the number of extra lands |
