In ongoing discussions on how to find a datum to measure kills per game (kpg) against, I remembered that I could extract kpg from two of my old samples.
The first is the same sample from which I calculated the datum for the TAZD. From a set of 678 players who played at least one game, there were 1814 kills in 11,325 game appearances, or a ratio of 0.1602. The second sample is 100 players I selected to do a dendogram. The sample was semidemiskrumic, meaning four sets of 25 players: the top 25, the 25 containing skrum, and two other sets between, spaced so that four equal intervals resulted. The 100 players had 3,186 kills in 12,657 game appearances, or a kpg of .2517. These stats are from the old scoring rules and 7-player games only, but they may have some usefulness still. Enjoy. |

"The sample was semidemiskrumic" WOW, I've never thought I'd be learning a new word today. ;-) |
