Small 23 land maps killing fun of game

Noticed recently that kdice lost its fun for me. Was wondering why until I noticed that most maps have shrunk in size to be 23 lands. This means that many of the games are decided in first two rounds or so with some players never having a chance.
Please increase map sizes again. Telling me to play bigger maps only helps partially since there's often too few players to sit and wait at my own table for people to come. |

Maybe some tables should have a fixed map, regardless of how many players start. |
