Hi there, Ryan,
there's something I'd like to ask you for although I know you're pretty busy making kdice more interesting again atm: but could you please bring back the points-limits to sit at 0- and 100-tables? Ofc I know it's not your fault nor was it probably your aim ppl with 10k or even more sit at 0- or 100 tables and screw ppl with 200 points just to gain 2nd and 50 points in the end.... and since there's the new point system it happens regularly. It's not just coz I for myself would never sit 0- or 100-tables with a few thousands points, it also discourages players with low points. And yes I admit it makes me more mad to get screwed by someone with 10k at 100 table than by someone with 200 points. I'm not the only one thinking that way. I don't know if you remember our short talk about the new pointsystem a few days ago ( I'm sure lots of ppl were talking to you the last few weeks :-) ). I know you probably won't change it for 2nd to 6th and I will get along with that - but maybe you can think about the 0- and 100-table point-limits. Thank you in advance BTW...these "non-random-start-tables" (think you called it like that) are really a cool idea and it would be great to play them on the main side. Thank you for thinking about new ideas and changes. Love Greetings Mrs. M |

at 11:03 AM, Tuesday August 13, 2013 EDT What does it matter if a player has 100 or 10,000 points? Are you arguing that its unfortunate that higher skilled players are sitting with lesser skilled players and beating them? To that I say this: most high skilled players have numerous accounts, and if they couldn't sit with their high pointed account they would sit with another. All this does is allow players to stay on one account if they want.
(Case in point, this is one of my many accounts.) |

at 9:28 PM, Tuesday August 13, 2013 EDT Problem was, around the time Ryan came back we were so low on people that it was almost a necessity to remove the point limits. 100 tables weren't filling around 10 at night.
BUT NOW, I think its safe to put some of the point limits on the lower tables. It might be cool though to alter the point limits from where they were. 0 tables - people can play until 1k points or higher 100 tables - people can play until 10k or higher Other tables no limits (or whatever Ryan sees fit, I wouldn't know because I linger at 0 and 100 tables. Fuck the higher tables, done with that life.) |
