if you had 1 man 1 vote, and where voting for party nationwide, instead of 1v1 election circles, this is how congress would look http://awesome.good.is/transparency/web/1104/congress/flat.html the death of the unions is a loss of a democratic force, and what has replaced it is the aristocracy |

therefor there is no real free marked about the job marked. it really isn't. student loans makes it difficult to try to start for one selves, there is a real limit to how high you can get with most educations. |

Would you even think about cutting gov spending or do you think that running trillions of dollars in debt is a good thing? |

*Couple of things that would make this post much more compelling: 1) % of Federal income tax paid by these same groups. 2) % of wealth created by these same groups. 3) % of charitable donations made by each group* When you sit and spew one sided info all day long it's very hard to take you for anything other than someone who needs to be trolled. |

Best statement of the thread. Many of those that are impoverished in this country don't make strides to change their status. Opportunities are there, but it comes down to the mentality that "my parents are a certain way, I'll probably end up the same way". My dad didn't go to college, nor did he push me to go to college, so I won't go to college either. Liberals want the money to flow to the bottow half of the country which I WOULD BE OK WITH IF IT WOULD HELP THEM BECOME LESS DEPENDANT ON OTHERS. If they take the money and still don't change their status in life then the douchebags deserve what they get (or don't get). I completely agree with moon's statement even if he didn't mean it in the same interpretation that I'm gaining from it. Rich people stay rich by keeping their kids educated and teaching them how to invest properly/run the business right/pass along the same morals to their kids. Too often the poor pass along the same shitty lack of effort to their kids. Not because they have no choice, but because they choose to do no better. It's a differ of opinion that none of us will agree on, so arguing about it is moot. |
