when you flag A and A later flags B, should you automatically flag B too? there are cases for both yes and no when you flag A but A starts to do stupid things so he is losing places fast. Do you flag under him or not? Many cases yes but not always if there is a bottleneck for a fight but someone has plenty of reserves, can this player take lands from a player he flagged to to grow or make a second attack point? I could go on and on about situations where endless discussion is possible and every new similar case could again be discussed and never will everyone agree on the same thing. Rules are dynamic and depends on the game and who it is you are playing. I adapt my rules on who I am playing, depending on how they played before. And imo, that's the key to the whole story. We all make our own rules and we all have our own game ethics. Just play by them and explain in chat why you use them. After a while, people pick up on how fair you play and what rules you use and they will treat you accordingly. I know I do that. So what is wrong and what is right? who knows sometimes?
