Dom has become obsolete

Dom should now be removed from the game, the new playing style that has been encouraged makes it obsolete. For example, the last game I played, I have 6 lands, someone with 3 lands gets a lucky 8 restack in round 2 and pushes into my weak side, while someone sits idle and fake lags on his other side and doesnt follow into him because it seems they are friends. by the time I am almost fully stacked he tries a 8v6 which fails, now this person has not only taken away my chance to fight for 1st, but now says "I flag" with a bunch of 2 stacks that used to be many of my lands of 4's 5's etc. Now if I try to take them back, the whole table will revolt against me and say I dont accept flags. So I have to accept that all my dom is now his. Therefore, Dom is awarded to who flags first, encouraging early flagging even more. (I am still consufed why this game play is encouraged here). Please finish the death of dom by removing it from the higher tables too.

at 11:39 PM, Sunday September 19, 2010 EDT lol, then you dont accept his flag, and take your terr back, you should be able to keep the table of your back, by using the chat properly. the rest of the table usually accept it if you kill a person, and have a good reason.

at 3:46 AM, Monday September 20, 2010 EDT as per the rules you are not obliged to accept a flag (obviously). much less so a vflag.
however indeed the behavior goopy describes does exist and there is a chance that a revolt / lynchmob will occur against a flag-killer, even a vflag-killer. however, it shouldnt occur in the scenario you describe. if a certain player ruined you with previous attacks, you should be able to politely decline the flag (virtual flag even!) in chat, in some cases maybe give a short explanation why, and I would expect the board to understand and consent. I often refuse chatflags based on previous experience with that certain player ("pge") and my experience is that usually the table accepts that. |

at 5:59 AM, Tuesday September 21, 2010 EDT that or really missguided vigilantism. dom lives great on 2k and 5k, or any game with good players. dom is a game feature, and every game feature that complicates the game like that helps separate the good from the bad players
