at 6:44 AM, Wednesday September 1, 2010 EDT kdp- the asr is an alternative to the tapl/tazd that applies positive weights to higher places and negative weights to lower places (4*1sts and -2*7ths). It integrates the 'real' scoring system by using table points. Earning a high number of table points and having 'good' percentages increases your score.
