(Breaking your word is not a bannable offense, sorry. That's what comes from trusting verbal flags! Next time just kill him, or anyone else.) |

at 8:20 PM, Wednesday June 2, 2010 EDT Breaking your word is not against the rules of the game, therefore it is not cheating. I can understand why you don't like it, but you take that risk every time you treat someone's verbal flag as a magic invincibility potion.

at 8:34 PM, Wednesday June 2, 2010 EDT Oh come on ! That's so easy that way to vflag someone when you're weak then finally crush him in the end ? What can be seen as a bad joke on a regular table is in any case acceptable in a tourney and on the last table !
Cheating musnt be rewarded. |

at 1:07 PM, Thursday June 3, 2010 EDT hi all still interested in this:
i wonder what you will consider a situation that had both occurred to myself (in a tourney) and also i have observed it in other situations: a person in flags upon request of another (in my case it was a flag for 2nd place just before the final table, instead of seeking a chance by attacking) --- later he get 'locked in' with little or no space to grow whereas those smaller ones grow by their conquered territories - and worst of all, being erased by exactly that guy who had asked him to flag up (real one) who won the table ...... looking thru the rules, this seems no offense ( qualifying for penalty) but i still consider it very rude, highly unfair, not even justified by the so-called tourney startegy and it moreover also totally disvalues the flag system in my eyes if it is just considered a strategic move without consequences to act alike. I feel theses situations are even much worse than broken promises on v-flags... |
