Sorry, Im a strategist and I think ahead. The whole time I was thinking, Im going to take zoid out if given the opportunity. and tourneys are an integrated part of kdice play...so it doesnt matter where you get your pts...all that matters is that you get them :)

In the Final 1k today, it was the first round of the tourny. I had a solid base goin in round 1, zoid had a 6 stack in round 2. As I was wieghing my options on whether to flag or not (I had a 4 stack 2 territories away from his 6 stack), right when his turn starts he comes straight for me and fails the 5v4.

I was really surprised by this move because we were both relatively strong and I would've thought he would move away from me and we could've 1/2d really easily, but no he came straight for me.

Anyway he ended up rebasing after losing that, and I had a 8 stack on a BUNCH of his little stacks (He spread out), and he flagged to me. I seriously considered not accepting it and taking him out, knowing how strong of a player he is and debating whether or not he would come straight for me again later on in the tournament.

I ended up not taking him out (I'm too nice sometimes). I also ended up getting knocked out in the 5th or so round of the tournament, not by means of zoid but just plain bad luck.

Anyway zoid ended up getting 4th.

So the moral of that story is... ya we kinda think the same way sometimes Travis.
