Alright its a bit odd but heres how it goes...
Three left. I am Yellow (1st) Brown (2nd) Teal (3rd) Brown and teal fought...Teal flags for second to brown. I was in first the whole time but once teal flagged, they decided to gang up on me. I recognized I wouldnt win 2v1...So I flag to TEAL and opt to take on brown. Brown, realizing he wont beat me alone, flags to me for second. So now you have me flagged to teal, who flagged to brown who flagged to me. At this point in time, they are both flagged for 2nd. We each build up to 32 dice while trying to decide what to do. *Note no one attacked each other after this so it wasnt like someone just said fuck it. What should we have done here? (yes, maybe all the flagging shouldnt have happened, but Im talking about AFTER the FLAGS did occur) What should have taken place... Thanks. (P.S. What ended up happening was I was talking and got flagged out, which it gave me third, brown second, and teal first - idk what but thats how it happened) |

at 3:49 AM, Tuesday April 27, 2010 EDT while they were fighting, you should have forced both of them to flag to you.
since you blew that, you should have flagged to brown and just fought 2/3. since you blew that, you deserve to lag out 3rd. |

at 8:18 AM, Tuesday April 27, 2010 EDT 1) what happy said about force them to flag to you while they are fighting each other.
2) once teal flagged 2nd to brown, you should NOT flag to teal, but just tell him, hey, i am not interested in 2nd, and brown and i will fight for 1st/3rd. 3) once you have circular flags (and this sometimes happens on the high tables in my experience), what i like to do is propose a 3way rolloff for 1/2/3. but this requires playing with people who can play for laughs and not for points, which might not be the case 98% of the time. |

at 10:23 AM, Tuesday April 27, 2010 EDT Truce one of them so you can 2v1 the other, then you get to be all cool because you manipulated the vflagtardation to avoid a 2v1 on yourself and still get 1st.
In the future go 1/3 fight or don't let yourself get stuck in this sad situation by making them flag to you before hand. |
