good job guys!! glad you're living up to the expectations that you set during your campaign! Health care bill was awesome, wasn't? wait if it was so awesome, how come it doesn't apply to you? Or anyone else in Congress, at that? Or their staff? Hmmm.....
(D) MEMBERS OF CONGRESS IN THE EXCHANGE- (i) REQUIREMENT- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, after the effective date of this subtitle, the only health plans that the Federal Government may make available to Members of Congress and congressional staff with respect to their service as a Member of Congress or congressional staff shall be health plans that are– (I) created under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act); or (II) offered through an Exchange established under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act). Now, this is where the details kick in: (ii) DEFINITIONS- In this section: (I) MEMBER OF CONGRESS- The term `Member of Congress’ means any member of the House of Representatives or the Senate. (II) CONGRESSIONAL STAFF- The term `congressional staff’ means all full-time and part-time employees employed by the official office of a Member of Congress, whether in Washington, DC or outside of Washington, DC. |

"The new health-care plan is a 3 strike system, thus if you don't pay your (Premium) you get a strike; 1st strike is a warning, 2nd strike you get a fine I've heard $50.00, however 3rd strike you don't pass go, don't collect $200 and you go straight to JAIL. “ This is where I have a problem... So if you don't pay your "Health-care" you go to JAIL!? Where you get FREE HEALTHCARE!? WTF! TCS |

at 5:15 PM, Friday April 9, 2010 EDT TCS, wrong. One can file for the tax like anything else when filing, or when one collects on health services it will be allotted to the recipient in addition to normal costs.
The thinking is costs will go down with larger pools to buy insurance, preventative medicine, and efficiency improvement guidelines. Whether or not this program in the future will do that is what we're all wondering. |
