Top 25 should really not be playing 500 tables

Happy... nothing against you, but you really should play 2k tables if not higher when you're clearly in 1st place on the leader-board with >5x the number of points for a 500 table.

the limit for a 500 level table is 75k.

i don't see anything wrong with that limit. lets make a deal where we can both be happy. i'll play my game. you play yours. hows that sound?

Flaw in this plan is that only 25 people can play against each other. They have to wait untill another 6 players are online to play a game. Surely not

I agree. Happy should be forced to play 2k's

i'm just saying at the same time a 2k game was actively cycling. He could of easily found enough players to play with. I don't mean to single out Happy it's just that he was a glaring example of what ought not to happen...

I didn't mean that top 25 can only play against each other...thats what the member tourneys are for... j/k

I just meant that OF ALL players they should lead by example.

I'm not trying to critique but when I see 2k games going on I try to get in on one. I do admit that I'm not the best example, but at least the player who is 1st should be trying to play higher tables.

as to the limit, maybe 75k is a bit too high.

Any given game has it's own inter game politics. So and so player could be PGE with so and so player. Likewise RCd, or accused of PGA.

I don't see a problem with happy or any top 25 player playing 500s-- there are plenty of top players that like 500s more.

There's a completely different dynamic on 2k/5k with more complicated social situations, the same players repeatedly, and the skill level is significantly higher. someone like lager or sam who can be super competitive and can anticipate other people's moves can thrive on this. However, for someone who wants a friendly game and would rather meet new people and hope that they suck, 500s have a higher expected value for them.

Plus yeah, it's the 1st week of the month-- not too many 2k games going on yet.

I don't see why anybody on earth would want to play anything but 2 and 5k's. I hardly know the usual players there and always have much more fun than on lower tables.

2 and 5k players are usually more sensitive to subtle things like avoiding rolls, attack direction and indirect threats (and I can't really say that I master those subtleties). On 500's it pretty much boils down to hope you build a higher stack than your neighbour, cross your fingers and roll.

obscure... nothing against you, but you really should edit out your desktop folders if not the entire desktop when you're clearly posting pictures with identifiable info.

btw CHOP is a good time-- and some good food carts in the parking lot outside (there's a sweet grilled chicken gyro place.)

Jenkins the 2k/5k players are not always better they just cheat more. It's extremely hard to find a game without a pga in it.

Also the mods do not really mod the top tables at all. They actually laugh with the cheaters about cheating. It's sad.
