Suggestion: Do another stat with number of IP-addresses per month.

I guess you will end up with much smaller numbers.

Also: where did you get those numbers from?

Because when I had a look at the leaderboard at the end of December, there were more than 10,000 registered accounts on it, while as far as I can remember, there were less than 8,000 registered accounts in February.

i would guess that number ryan cares about is unique ip's (what he gets ad revenue for) which could be less than the total number of accounts (because some people play more than one accounts), and could be more than the total number of players (because some people may use different ips from home and work).

Yeah, i would guess less due to double accounts, but not significantly less. These numbers are pretty close to the unique monthly visit numbers.

What I find crazy is how constant they are.

i will re-state in this thread that i agree with lager and ryan about changing the table limits.

it may reduce game-to-game favors and inportance of long-term relationships by having a larger set of players on the high tables.

right now it seems like the same 30 people play the high tables all month. if there are constantly new players on each table, it makes the dynamic more interesting (and allows people to be greedier and more combative and compeititive if they are sitting with the same people every game).
