at 8:29 AM, Thursday March 25, 2010 EDT Id love to be sat at a random 5k table, that would be so unexpected. Who cares about PGA at 500s anyway.

at 10:04 AM, Thursday March 25, 2010 EDT there are so few people that play the top tables that they would undoubtedly get seated together since there is usually only 1 2k or 5k going on at a time

at 1:49 AM, Friday March 26, 2010 EDT Let's see, where to start.
1) There is usually only 1 table at 0 / 100 / 500 starting at any given time. How would choosing among 1 table be random? Or are you proposing we increase the wait time for a game to start exponentially, often making it IMPOSSIBLE to get a game started because you need 2, 3, or 4 times as many people playing? 2) It's a social game. People will talk, and if they want to PGA they will find a way. Even if you banned chat and took away names and icons, they would IM each other and work out what colors they were. 3) Tournaments work pretty much the way you describe. Do you honestly think PGAs happen there any less than in regular games? |
