I recently had the misfortune of playing a game with the above linked player (Eric Sabourin), and it occurred to me that I probably would have played the game differently had I realized the player I was dealing with had 90 out of 91 negative review comments (yes I read them all). The problem is that it takes too much time to read someone's comments page during a game to figure out if that player is an untrustworthy sociopath racist. What I request is to have a simple, quick to interpret meter that would provide players with information regarding how many positive/negative reviews a player has. What I envision is something like an ebay style feedback. This would require some reworking of the comments system to allows for a postive, neutral, and a negative review. In a game, if you want to get an idea wheter or not to trust any given player, simply hover your mouse over their icon/name and a box will appear displaying the summary of their reviews. |

at 12:11 AM, Tuesday March 23, 2010 EDT I would love a nice ranking rating, most 2k/5k games people know each other so this would be a boon to new people as the "elite" would see a good rating or bad rating and be able to have some knowledge about newer players and be able to feel better about working with them or owning them when need be.

I admit that I hardly review someone for being a good player ... I rather review them for things they did stupidly. This will cause the "meter" to display a bad sum up 90% of the time. :V
