at 1:38 AM, Monday March 15, 2010 EDT my point was that you can be mean to people game to game (pge) so why can't you be nice? I'm not saying pga isn't cheating. I'm saying I might move differently depending on who i'm playing.

at 2:03 AM, Monday March 15, 2010 EDT OK in your original post you said "being nice to people". Knowing how people behave is COMPLETELY different. "Being nice to people" because you know them IS doing them a favor.
However, if you have a big stack next to another persons big stack; and you move away from them, then they move away from you; this is in essence a silent truce... completely permissible. It really gets tricky from here which I'm too tired to get in to atm. |

Being nice to people because you know how they'll react isn't really doing them a favour; it's doing yourself a favour. it'll help you in the long run (aka to the end of the game). |
