i always enjoy employing the dasstab by appearing to vflag early to someone like:

monte: flag noob
noob: ok

(ten turns pass and i have +32 then attack him)

noob: wtf, dont backstab me
monte: wtf you talking about, i ordered you to flag and you said ok. then you never put up a flag. so put it up already and ill stop attacking.
noob: wtf, i didnt flag to you, you flagged to me
monte: "monte: flag noob" ... i was using the imperative, moron
noob: $%@#$@#$%

at first i thought: yay, finally someone pointing it out. fuck those idiots who aint speaking no proper english.

but then i thought: wtf! 'flagging TO someone' isn't much more proper then 'flagging someone'. Cause if you browse the different meanings of 'to flag' (like to mark, to become weak, to decoy) it really makes no sense to say 'i flag to you'.

bottom line: you can flag my ass

I would argue that in kdice To Flag = give someone else a higher place typically 1st, since flags have known to be reneged if said recipient of the flag doesn't win.

It's a game specific definition that wont catch on in any real dictionary.

I use poor english as a tool to be nebulous and allow for better pretext to kill people. If you are trying to be clear though being a moron isn't the best way to get people to respect your flag.
