I don't know your school's policy, but I got some undeserved A's after something like this happened to me.

I was fooling around with some girl in his room and he put on her skirt and started dancing. I'm not sure exactly how we reacted but I guess he didn't like it. He took a disposable Bic razor and started rubbing it across his wrists... (imagine a carrot peeler ugh!)...

I tied a cloth over his wrists. I called 911 and tried to get him to go to the campus hospital. He attempted to flee and I followed him up a stairwell. I was a little surprised when he kept going up the stairs.

I thought there were only 5 floors in that part of the dorm and was surprised he kept going up. I didn't realize there was roof access.

I tackled him as he got to the railing and tried to pull himself over it. I managed to drag him back to the stairwell and he kept saying he was OK and tried to get free.

I ended up choking him until he passed out. It seemed like it took forever for some bystanders to finally enter the stairwell and bring help.

He ended up being involuntarily committed (I guess they call it a looney bin or insane asylum). The school arranged for a taxi for us to visit him and I met some interesting people. His new roommate at the 'hospital' didnt understand why he was committed because he tried to walk from DC to Baltimore barefoot in a bathrobe with no wallet.

The Dean informed my professors that semester and my grades were greatly inflated, and she even changed an "F" to a "C" the following semester for me.

I was shocked to see that I passed Business Financial Management considering I flunked the mid-term, didn't complete the class project, and didn't take the final exam.

My Business Financial Management professor asked me later how I was going to graduate because I didn't re-enroll in his required course. I didn't bother to tell him that the Dean changed my grade without his knowledge.

Anyway, I guess my answer to your question about the "myth" is that you might not get straight A's, but if you talk to the Dean you might get grades that you don't deserve.

But maybe if he died I would have gotten the straight A's. I was content that I got inflated grades and nobody had to die.

Yes zoid it was 4am and we were in his room. This guy fell asleep and I got her skirt off.
He got up and put her skirt on, and started dancing. Don't know if he was sleepwalking or high or what. I think he got embarrassed and decided to kill himself.
