It seems that I have overreacted and overstepped my boundaries here with some/most of you. I've spoken with a few members and well I guess that their is a different class of gamer here than the other site(s).
I am not leaving the KDice community. I am going to stay around here and mod players who are out of line. You want to say shit, piss, fuck, cocksucker what ever... however using foul language with aggression against other users is against site rules. There must me a line somewhere. How about we come up with some updated game rules and post them under Advisor Blog. In short. This is your site. Do what you want. I was not trying to be a dick for those of you who I came off that way my personal apologies. I could go on and on but I do have to get back to school. When I have time if there are some of you (which I'm expecting) we can talk more about this. I will reverse all actions I have taken this week against KDice users within the next 24 hours. If the owner of the site tolerates certain behaviour then maybe you might want to consider the fact that you are a facist mod. If someone comes to you feeling harrassed or you witness someone going off, tell them to calm down if they continue to go on and on in profanity then give them a timeout for a day or something. In kdice there are more bad beats and more action in kdice, emotions run higher here and people express themselves more here you should expect to see different attitudes. If someone is going to do something collosally stupid I am going to try to get them to understand the idiocy of their move, and I am sorry but kindly explaining the stupidity only works after an suprising comment that gets them to pay attention, profanity works. |
