Ladies, I need some advice

So I've been seeing this new girl, right (Inb4 all fag/ugly/childrapist jokes) and one of my friends brought up kdice last night at the bar. So I had to briefly explain, and new girl was severely unimpressed. Apparently, she used to date this guy who was obsessed with world of warcraft, and so is not friendly towards the idea of internet gaming.

I tried to explain that kdice is like playing online poker, not WOW, and that anyway I quit, but it seemed like the better idea to just stop talking.

Anyway, kdice is in no way a deal-breaker in this new "relationship," should I even bother trying to convince/explain it to her or just relinquish myself to knowing she'll always associate me with her dork/metalhead/worldofwarcraft ex? I don't know if I can handle that.

she also didnt appreciate it when my friend chimed in with "Wait wait wait, did we mention that for one month, Pierce was the #1 ranked player in the world."

The last girl thought it was cute/funny, this new girl, not so much.

Ryan, I thought I'd get action from all these shiny medals.

Please, let this be some kind of joke and if not a joke. It's not a good idea to post it on kdice. Choose another sight to ask women about it. So many cruel and funny things that could be said, but if it is all true I don't want to mess with your head. If you are serious drop the subject and then one day convince her to play it that's how my fag of an ex boyfriend got me addicted to this game. (I am not calling you a fag I just hate the guy.)

good subject, you have to make a kdice test for any girl you like.. If she likes kdice she is good, if not find another one :)
Kdice>girl :D :D :D

what i would do was say I had basicly quit, and only played a few hours a month for fun and laughs. and then i would actually semiquit, and do just what i told her. then you can later (like 2 weeks or so) when she has kinda settled on that thought start playing kdice abit up, by small offhand comments. Trying to make her get the idea that kdice require real mental powers, and that you have to be smart to be able to get good results.

the other path you might take is to seem confident (should be done anyways) about it. don't show her that you are embarrased about it (or just feel confident about your accomplishments and know that it is just a hobby, not an obsession). that way you can continue to play it as a hobby (with trophies :D ).

oh, i'm sure everything will be fine when she finds out that you don't play anymore and now just relies on internet gamers for sentimental advice.
