i have a way to get rid of MANY noobs!
currently there are 78,969 players in your community. i propose u have a monthly subscription fee, this probably would upset many people but wud definately irradicate the people who spoil this game and make ur life that little bit harder. 79000players? charge them $1 a month...thats POTENTIALLY $79k a month??? now, of course, i would need a cut lol. but srsly, people who play this game properly and that dont ruin it for others would pay the fee, purely for the love of the game! u could introduce moderators, pay them a wage to keep tabs on the chat and watch out for morons etc. now i understand that its possible that ppl wilol read this and say "stfu, this is a stupid idea blah blah blah". BUT WAIT, sit back and think about what the benifits would be to the players that would pay and for ryan... if he has regular money coming in, he can dedicate alot more time to perfecting this game. all those that complain about this, just ask daddy to borrow his credit card, i mean, whats a dollar??? awe |

Ill just say that a decision like that is a great one requiring a lot of thinking and analysis in terms of marketing. Will people accept a fee or will they switch to another game? What is the optimum figure for a fee? Are those 79000 people all active or does it include inactive players? If you look at the ads around the site, thats how Ryan is currently making his money. Although it may not be much, its an income nonetheless. Is your plan going to make more money both in the short term and long term than the current one? How will you know that it is going to work, or more precisely, how can you reduce uncertainties involved? Those are just a few of the questions you need to ask yourself and answer before making a decision like this. Also, if you want to make a proposal like this, you might want to put some effort into your English. Presentation is paramount; if your presentation is bad, the idea behind it is deemed bad. Unfair? Thats just how things are. Don't take any offense to what I said; it was all written with the intention of helping you. Cheers |

at 6:09 AM, Tuesday December 11, 2007 EST There are way too many free things for people to do on the internet. Even if you only force people to pay a dollar, most would just never come back, myself included.
Support the site through ads like every other free site. Or...charge a dollar as suggested....I'm better off not wasting so much time here :) |
