getting ready for KDice Trainer on iphone
Posted By: Ryan at 8:45 PM, Sunday March 29, 2009 EDT
I've been writing a single player version of KDice for the iphone over the past few months and need to start getting ready to launch it.
I wanted to reach out to the kdice community to see what kind of role you'd like to play. I was going to create a seperate community at iphone.kdice.com. Any volunteers to welcome iphone players there?
Also, I need to write a description for the trainer when it appears on itunes. I was thinking of something from this community explaining what kdice is (ie more than just a game of luck) and a challenge to compete against the best.
Let me know what you think.
Here's a sneak peek:

It will be great advertising for the site though. |

We believe you make your own luck, especially playing KDice. We've been playing it and refining our skills for over two years now and have become really, really good. KDice is a game of luck to the noobs and a game of precise strategy to the pros. Use the KDice Trainer to learn how to play KDice like us. This game of strategy is based on Taro Ito's Dicewars and Risk. Your goal is to conquer the map against up to 6 out of 99 unique bots. Work your way up the leaderboard through each point level until you're playing with the best. Features: - unlimited number of unique maps - play 2-6 players with different map sizes - keep track of your ranking and score relative to the bots - 99 unique bot AI's to play against |

at 2:20 AM, Tuesday March 31, 2009 EDT wow sweet! i like how you seem to have it set up with like an overall objective. will make it much more fun than dicewars. also when you say unique bots do you mean like their luck or their tendency to be aggressive and or defensive? but totally sounds awesome.
