Cut, then deepen the wound.

It goes without saying that cutting your opponent is harmful to their health. Let's suppose your opponent has 8 lands, you cut him, creating an island, and a base of 6 lands. All too often I see players attack the island! The best strategy here is not only to attack the base, but to look for the next cut on the base. By attacking the base, you reduce your opponent's ability to stack.

at 5:25 PM, Tuesday February 1, 2011 EST you should also try to make rolls where you have more dice than the opponent, like 3v2 and 5v4 because this gives you a better chance of winning the aforementioned roll.

at 5:39 AM, Wednesday February 2, 2011 EST Another great advanced level strategy is to not only attack a territory that you outnumber, but to attack a territory that you VASTLY outnumber. So, for example attack 8 vs 2 rather than 8 vs 7. This increases your chances of success even further and maximises the odds of you winning the game. (Assuming you don't want to cripple the enemy's restacks that is).
