Generally people will believe you if you say something. Said thing does not have to be true. Thus you can say you are flagged for second when you are actually planning to build and take first. (Don't worry, people won't check to see if you actually flagged).

I have made a list of people that have been lying, and the people that are true to their words. and as a general rule of thumb i tend to choose the path that hurts the liers. even if they didn't lie to me
