seriously though, from 3.1 - 7.1 i got whole number increments, and then next game i got +.5. i don't believe i was ever not first ELO at the end of any game.

it sounds like it might be the same bug as when it says your rank is rank-1 at the table

I've fixed the bug but just need to restart the server. Maybe later tonight.

note the change from 7.51 to 8.01, as was from 7.01 to 7.51 ... never lost first ELO.

The news then reads:

so he plays, drops 27 points and ends up first in elo still, 1995 (2nd place had 1974)

so he should have gained a point for rank 1/1st place finish

7.5 went to 8 though, instead of the correct update 8.5

I have no clue if it happened before but if it happens once then i'd be inclined to believe him.
