server jammed by chat?

Hi,

lolqqq was up in the sandbox posting all kinds of crazy shit like what you see when you look at the page source. and then the sandbox jammed up. This was in Slippy table. I don't know if he made the sandbox jam up, but he said something like "This is AJAx, so easy" or something.

And then I went in Billy the Kid table on the regular kdice and weaksauce was in there posting the crazy shit in the chat, like this here:

I got cheated/lost turns today because someone was doing something similar on the Texas table. The player was daftgnr. This is another player who is messing with the chat... and the game... and doing it excessively. This person is posting long continous strings of text (without whitespace) in the chat. When someone does this it messes up the page layout. Anyone familiar with web design knows the effect... the page gets extended horizontally and the other divs/parts of the page get pushed over to the right or left or content is squished in a horrible way. So, if it is timed correctly, this can easily be used to exploit another player's turn. Seems like some sort of wrapping style could be applied but I'm not sure about all the details behind the scenes.

To immediately solve the problem of someone messing up the page width, refresh the page. Also, it doesn't stretch the page if you're using Firefox.

Yes, i knew all that... but not everyone knows that. Players can still get cheated this way unless they happen to be using firefox. Refreshing is sort of intuitive, but you can still get burned if it doesn't refresh fast enough. I just think there should be a better solution to this. I'd have a hard time believing that there aren't other people who would agree with me. Point is, if you don't agree then I'd at least like to know why you don't agree...
